Our Story
Dean and I met each other in a bar - and our primary attraction was the stamina we each had to party all night and do it again the next day! We had serious personal issues and were not really good candidates for a long-term marriage.

We met Robert St. John shortly after we got married. He explained the relationship pattern of Metamorphosis to us. We both attribute our general well-being and the health of our 18 year marriage to the principles and practice of Metamorphosis.

We understand that patterns are compulsive and we feel grateful that we have learned a gentle means to help each other. As we we work on each others feet - at night while watching a movie - we grow individually and together. It is great to relax and not talk about our 'issues' yet still be actively addressing them.

Metamorphosis is great for couples because you can work on yourselves and each other - reducing alot of the dialogue that couples begin to dread. Because the practice is done fully clothed and is non-verbal and non-directive it is possible to provide gentle touch - with a profound intention.

The person giving the treatment is the impetus for change and the person receiving does their own healing. This is nice for couples because the person giving the treatment does not determine what the other needs - we do our own healing within.

Cindy Silverlock studied with Robert St. John, the founder of Metamorphosis. She has actively inspired interest in Metamorphosis since 1989. She created the U.S. Metamorphosis Journal as a means for St. John to keep us abreast of his new developments. She sponsored numerous Metamorphosis conferences, including one of St. John’s final lectures. She is the author of, “An Introduction to Metamorphosis.” Cindy has taught nationwide and abroad since 1991.

Dean Silverlock initially experienced Metamorphosis at a health Fair in Perth, Australia. Cindy was receiveing regular Metamorphosis treatments and could not inspire Dean to try it. At the fair an elderly gentleman, an ex-plummer was offering free mini treatments. Dean felt he could relate to a man of the trades and had an instant response to Metamorphosis, unlike anything he had ever experienced.

Dean took the class with Cindy in 1989 and has been actively using the principles and practice in his own life. He often assists Cindy in her classes and students often comment how much they appreciate his presence. Because of the subject matter, Dean is going to participate in teaching this class.

Dean works in construction and has great rapport with men and also has the heart and spirit of the healing arts!

Cost: $550 per couple
$100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space.
